2016 Eiffel Competition – Winning projects

The winning projects of the third Eiffel Competition were announced on November 30 at an awards ceremony held in the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Organized by the Foundation of the Société de la Tour Eiffel, in partnership with the Abvent Group and the SMA Excellence Foundation, the Eiffel Competition’s goal is to encourage, reward and highlight the inventiveness and creativity of Architecture students. This year, the theme of the competition was „Imagining the tertiary building of 2030”. It was part of the development of the Paris-Saclay Campus. The objective was to transform an existing parcel of the Eiffel Orsay Campus by imagining a tertiary building while applying BIM in the design workflow.
